Ursula is our Lead Groomer, with a lifelong love for cats and dogs. Her deep connection with her own pets inspired her to turn that passion into a career in grooming.

GENTLE GROOMING, HAPPY PETS

From the beginning, Ursula understood the importance of creating a calm, loving, and stress-free grooming experience. She developed a gentle approach that is especially beneficial for senior and special-needs pets, helping them feel safe and comfortable throughout their visit.

Her patient techniques are also wonderful for puppies, helping them learn to trust and even enjoy the grooming process.

Outside of grooming, Ursula enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking long walks. ♡

My grooming journey began in March 2023 when I joined Grooming Loft as an assistant. What started with learning, observing, bathing, and brushing quickly grew into a true passion.

Through dedication, patience, and hands-on experience, I grew into an independent professional groomer. Today, I care for every pup from start to finish, always with attention to detail, patience, and lots of love.

Over the years, Grooming Loft has helped me grow in confidence and turn my love for dogs into a career I truly enjoy. Every pup is unique, and my goal is not only to create a beautiful groom, but to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Hi, I am Layla Chahine, a junior groomer at grooming loft pet salon and life long dog lover. I graduated from animal behavior college in early July 2026 and am excited to continue growing my skills in the grooming industry.

I have always been a visual artist, so grooming is the perfect way to combine my creativity with my love for working with dogs. I love seeing each dog transform and helping them look and feel their very best!

I studied dog grooming in both Japan and Toronto. I especially love doing Asian-style cuts, teddy bear faces, and round-face styles.
